Danieli Innovaction Awards

This partnership experience makes possible continuous innovation that improves product quality, plant efficiency, operator safety and environmental impact. These achievements lead to continuous production sustainability,” reads the back of each of the six plates presented to industry professionals during the plenary session of Danieli Meeting.

During the first morning session of DIM, the first Danieli Vision Award was presented to Giovanni Arvedi, “For being able to imagine - with optimism and concreteness - pioneering technologies in the production of cold and hot rolled planes.”

During the afternoon five more Fourth Danieli Innovaction Meeting Awards were presented to:

Deacero, Mexico: “For the vision and determination in pursuing its market strategies, anticipating steel industry changes.”  The plate was received by Raul Gutierrez Muguerza, President and CEO of Deacero

Sural, Quebec, Canada: “For the strong entrepreneurial spirit, the ambition and competence of the team who made the new aluminum wirerod mill successful.” The plate was received by Alfredo Riviere, Chairman & C.E.O of  Sural Group

SGJT, China: “For envisioning the ability of Danieli Universal Endless technology to be cutting edge in flexibility and quality for hot rolled coil production.” The plate was received by Wang Guiyang, Vice General Manager of Shougang Jing-Tang United I&S Co.

KUMZ, Russia: “For the partnership and team-up spirit which made possible to overcome technical challenges in establishing in modern aluminium flat product processing.” The plate was received by Alexander Vladimirovich Skornyakov, President of Aluminium Products Managing Company.

JSW Steel, India: “For having the determination to make fundamental changes and drive operational excellence in steel processing.” The plate was received by Sathya Prakash Rai, Assistant to the Chairman and Ratnaprasad  Atluri, Senior VP Steel, of JSW Steel India.

The 2017 Danieli Innovaction Meeting presented an occasion to consider new possibilities in plant engineering and production technologies, but also an opportunity to recognize and show appreciation for the many successful achievements made together with the Customers.
