Education for Change: School and training for social and individual growt
“Education” aims to bring training back to the foreground as a tool that facilitates the socio-economic change - not only local – that progress demands.
On Saturday, July 1, at the Loggia del Lionello in Piazza della Libertà in Udine, as part of the program “Conoscenza in Festa” a round table organized by Danieli was held "Education for change: Schooling and training for social and individual growth”.
The aims of this encounter were:
> to encourage universities to keep up with the requirements of the area (3rd Mission);
> to promote a “professionalizing” type of training;
> to promote a “preschool” model that is current and fulfills the requirements of progress, and the experience of a primary school that makes the most of responsiveness, energy, collaboration and the education of children.
“Education” aims to bring training back to the foreground as a tool that facilitates the socio-economic change - not only local – that progress demands. Starting from primary school until the end of secondary school or university, students invest energy and creativity in the art of “doing”.
The speakers of the round table broached various topics, prompting some “best practices” that are currently being consolidated:
> Prof. Laura Catella – Director of Collegio Pio X di Treviso (Cecilia Danieli Primary School): the men and women of tomorrow: a project for growth;
> Mr. Tito Sartori – Head of Psychology and Pedagogy (Collegio Pio X di Treviso): learning together: the mind and relations in the learning process;
> Prof. Fabrizio Dughiero – Pro-rector for Technology Transfer and Relations with Businesses (Università di Padova): new fields of study;
> Prof. Marco Sortino – Researcher and Professor of Mechanical Technology and Manufacturing Systems (Università di Udine): new technologies and digital experiential laboratories (Lama, Lef);
> Prof. Daniele Del Santo – Rector’s assistant for education (Università di Trieste): mathematics and new fields of study;
> Mr. Gianpietro Benedetti – President of the Danieli Group: corporation and school;
> Dr. Michelangelo Agrusti – President of Confindustria Pordenone: youths and Industry 4.0;
> Mr. Alessandro Calligaris – President of the Calligaris Group: internationalization in the field of wood/furniture and the new professional figures;
> Mr. Sergio Barel – CEO Brovedani Group: innovation in business and training.
The moderators were Alessandra Salvatori, director of "Telefriuli", and Daniele Michelluz, Deputy Director of "Il Friuli".
