SISSA’s visit the Danieli Academy and Research Center
A delegation from SISSA visiting the Danieli Headquarters
On May 25, 2016, Danieli hosted the visit of a delegation from SISSA, the International School for Advanced Studies, a scientific centre of excellence on the international academic stage, which was founded in Trieste in 1978.
SISSA’s three main areas of research are Physics, Neuroscience and Mathematics.
The members of the delegation who participated in the visit are Prof. Stefano Ruffo, Director of SISSA, Prof. Antonio De Simone, professor of SISSA in the area of mathematics and director of SISSA Math-Lab and the mathematicians of the laboratory of applied mathematics SISSA Math-Lab Prof. Gianluigi Rozza, Dr. Giovanni Corsi, Dr. Francesco Ballarin, Dr. Andrea Mola, Dr. Marco Tezzele and Dr. Filippo Salmoiragi.
The hosts attended a presentation of the Danieli Group and Academy, followed by a visit to the latter structure which was started up in July 2015. The visit also included a tour of the Danieli Research Centre.
